Gurney Stove-1880’s

This gorgeous “parlour” stove has been a favourite with guests at Horseless Carriage in Fenelon Falls¬†this year! It is an Art Oxford “Laurel” base burner stove made by the Gurney Foundry Ltd.¬† Toronto, Ont. It would have been found in a high end Victorian home in the 1880’s.
